As in any social activity, swingers are expected
to uphold certain rules of conduct. While at a party, a private get-together
with another couple, or setting up a threesome with a single person
there are certain dos and don'ts. These rule help to ensure a safe and
comfortable environment for everyone. Following these guidelines will
ease your transition into "the lifestyle" and create a welcoming
atmosphere where you and your partner can safely explore your sexual
boundaries.
Make a reservation.
Members of off premise clubs usually do not have to make
reservations to regular socials. However, Club Sesso does require a
reservation to attend parties. If you are new to a Key Club or are making
a visit to a Key Club, you should make a reservation out of respect
to your hosts. Reservations are always requested at special occasion
parties because of limited space.
As with any party, if you made a reservation you are
expected to attend and if you are unable to attend please call and cancel
with your hosts. (Club Sesso reserves the right to cancel your membership
for violation of this requirement)This way if there is a waiting list,
someone who is able to attend can.
Good grooming.
Presentation is everything. You should always remember
basic personal hygiene and good grooming. Be aware of body odor, your
breath and over all appearance. Very few people enjoy kissing someone
who smells like they just worked out. It is best to arrive at an on-premise
party in casual but smart party clothes, but don't forget your robe
or a negligee. Off-premise parties are a chance to strut your stuff.
There is usually a dress code for men, but women
can feel free to wear whatever they want (or not wear for that matter).
Remember, the best way to make a great first impression is to smile,
be open and be yourself.
Remember, no means NO.
As in any party situation, saying yes to an advance is
not mandatory. You do not have to say yes, and neither does the person
you are asking. Be straightforward and expect others to be so with you.
Only ask if you want to receive a yes, but don't push if you don't.
Do not try to persuade or force someone to change his or her mind. If
you are not interested in someone, be polite and considerate, but always
decisive. The worst thing you can do is lead someone on with a maybe
if you really mean no.
Illegal substances are prohibited.
Please do not endanger yourself, and others by indulging in illegal
substances, INCLUDING marijuana. You will only be creating legal problems
for yourself, those at the party, and the hosts. We are pushing conventional
boundaries far enough with the lifestyle without having to deal with
the stigma of drug abuse by our members. Legal indulgences should also
be used in moderation. Alcohol can be just as dangerous as illegal substances
and should be used with restraint. At a party that is BYOB only drink
what you bring, and never drink so much that self-control is lost. Prescription
medicine should only be used legitimately under a doctor's supervision.
If you have something nice to say…
Say it!!
Hosts love to know when people are having a good time.
If you are not enjoying yourself because it's not your scene, just leave.
Its bad manners to sit around and bad-mouth the party or the host. If
you are not enjoying yourself because of pressure or unwanted advances
from another guest, tell the hosts. They will want to know of any problems
immediately so they can be corrected and people can continue having
a good time.
